Reference Services

Information Services Librarians work with students, faculty, and staff to facilitate their research and teach efficient use of Library resources. Assistance is available through a variety of approaches including the following:

  • Online tutorials
  • Email and telephone support
  • In-person help
  • Individual customized database searching assistance by appointment
  • One-on-one or small group instruction in any subject area
  • In-office instruction just for faculty
  • In-class presentations tailored to the needs of a particular class
  • General Library Orientations offered periodically for all users
  • Workshops geared to specific databases

In-Person Reference Assistance:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9am to 6pm, Wednesday from 9am to 10pm, and Friday, 9am to 5pm. If you cannot immediately locate one of us, ask the Circulation Desk Worker when we'll be back or leave a detailed email or voice mail message anytime.
